I don’t know how he does it, but Minazuki makes this manga better and better each chapter. A bunch of major things happened  The first being that apparently the third season of the anime is still a thing.

That sucks. Anime doesn’t usually take over 15 months to be made. And if it does it’s either because

A: It’s starting tomorrow (Spoiler: It’s not)
B: We’ve at least seen something about it (IE: trailers, or a release date)  [We haven't]         or C: It’s going through Development Hell

Sadly C is the most likely option, and after episode 11 of Forte and the God-awful movie I’d rather not have one at all. I’m looking forward to another good Op and the Ed’s but other than that my expectation for the anime could not be lower at this point.

Going back to the manga, the second thing we know for sure that everyone is planning on attacking the Synapse. The end is coming people, I am not the false prophet. Third is that we know The Master Of The Synapse’s name; Minos. Fourth is that something is up with Sohora’s past, and thank God this character finally has a purpose. Long time fans will know of my disdain for Sohora and Astraea, because they don’t feel like characters that belong in the manga.

Both of they’re characters can be summed up with the word “Boobs”. Astraea has at least proved herself as somewhat of a character in the past, but up until now Sohora has done absolutely nothing but be annoying. My theory is that Sohora is dead. Minazuki killed Hiyori with a truck, and that seems to be the case here as well. Now of course the obvious question would be “Why is Sohora alive in the present?” Well to answer that question let’s look at what happens after the truck page. Tomoki runs in on younger Tomoki crying and then there’s a “Pang” sound effect followed by Tomoki clutching his head. In the past this was triggered either by The System erasing his memory, or Tomoki resisting The System’s memory deletion. Younger Tomoki doesn’t remember why he was crying following that, but older Tomoki does.

Now this series of events is proceeded by yet another question, what causes The System to delete memories. Well in the past it’s only happened when something involved with The Synapse leaks on Earth and they want to hush it up. So that means that Sohora is connected to the Synapse in some way, but that’s not all. It means that Younger Sohora is connected to The Synapse in some way, IE before she became entangled with it in the present. Personally, I think she’s an Angel just like how Hiyori was, which explains why younger Tomoki forgets about her. What that does not explain however, is why she’s alive in the present.

If you’ll cast your mind back to the 30-40 series of chapters, (Hiyori’s arc) The Master Of Th…Minos, says that once you live a dream in those pods, you can’t return to that dream, hence why Hiyori couldn’t go back to Earth originally and had to become a Modified Angelroid. Does this mean Sohora is a Modified Angelroid? I have no idea, but I’m leaning towards no. Being an Angelroid would certainly explain her strength, but what it wouldn’t explain is her lack of wings, collar, or knowledge of being an Angelroid in the first place.

Also, Nymph told Tomoki about Zeus and how no Angelroid could stand against it. We know this isn’t true, because Chaos did, and as I said in my “Why SnO Is Ending” video, that was before the Melan upgrades. And as I can inference from Chapter 70, Chaos might just be helping out with that.

So yea, at lot of stuff is up in the air at this point, and I can’t wait to see where this is going.
