Sunset Riders is probably one of my favorite games of all time. Why? Sunset riders was a side-scrolling shoot’em up with a western theme. For character choice you had 4 people to select. Steve and Billy, who used pistols, and Bob and Cormano, who used shotguns.
Now who you picked defines what weapon you got. With a pistol, you would shoot in a straight line and shoot faster. A shotgun has a burst, but shot slower. After Progressing through a level, you would fight a boss, usually with a gimmick. Hides behind barrels, very fast, Etc. The bosses also talked when you started and ended the fight, with pretty good quality for its time. Overall, Sunset Riders is an awesome game, that I highly recommend.

Now, vigilant 8 is a simple game, but in my opinion quite fun. Each character has a campaign, the outcome of which generally applies to whether or not your character is good or evil. Good people generally get good ending, whilst the evil get bad, with a few exceptions of course. The campaign missions are generally the same for each characters, If you’re a good person, you protect something while blowing up enemies, and if you’re evil you destroy something while blowing up enemies. Each character has a special weapon, gained by driving through special weapon crates. These weapons range from a lighting rod, missile racks, and a gatling gun. The unlockable characters are pretty awesome, ranging from a trucker to a bus driver, to an alien. Overall, Vigilante 8 is a game better played with friends, that has good replay value.
